How to enable in-coming emails for SharePoint 2010

Basically, you need to install SMTP server on your SharePoint server first and then to configure it to accept in-coming emails:

    We need to install SMTP server on the SharePoint boxes, enable in-coming emails in “Central Admin/System Settings/
    Configure incoming e-mail settings”, and restart “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Incoming E-Mail” service in “Central Admin/Manage services on server”.
