If you get Error 12029 in IE 8 when running the diagnostic tool, you can do an IE reset to fix it.

1-open IE/tools/options/advanced/

2-press Reset button

I don’t know how it happened but I updated my Adobe and also installed PowerGUI before IE stopped working.
